I am having a very frustrating problem with sendmail...

Occasionally mail coming in via UUCP and forwarded to another node
gets the Envelope from address changed to some random user.

The particulars of this problem are:

The Envelope From address is a route address.

I have UGLY UUCP headers turned off.

These failures seem to occur when a moderate number of messages are
sent at the same time (both UUCP and local mail).

Sending the failed message again manually does not reproduce the problem.

Has anyone seen this problem and know how to fix it?
