A while back, there was discussion here and elsewhere about pathalias
choking on a couple of entries and sucking systems dry. The only
``solution'' I heard was, ``We don't know why, but it hasn't happened
with the latest pathalias release. Get it.''

A fix was recommended: taking two sites out of the distribution maps.
I did this, and pathalias has run fine ever since. 

I suppose I could install the latest release to keep it from happening
again, but I'm still left wondering, what happened?
