SCSI request Summary: need a compatible driver Keywords: scsi seagate hard disk request Message-ID: <1990Jul25.211549.20713@murdoch.acc.Virginia.EDU> Date: 25 Jul 90 21:15:49 GMT Sender: news@murdoch.acc.Virginia.EDU Reply-To: cak0l@Virginia.EDU (Christopher A. Koeritz) Organization: University of Virginia Computer Science Department Lines: 17 Currently, I have the Minix 1.3 distribution disks, and an upgrade to Minix 1.5. However, the controller card or hard disk I have, which is the Seagate paired SCSI board and 80 Meg drive, is incompatible with the driver for hard disks. Has anyone written a driver or gotten this combination to work? I would fiddle around myself, but i only have one 1.2Meg floppy drive, and remaking the system on that kind of hardware is a major pain. Please send responses in e-mail. Thanks, Chris Koeritz. ???????????????????????? ? Christopher Koeritz ?
