They guy said that "tentatively", MS had decided to restore/expand the printed documentation for MSC 7.0 (yes, that's a _seven_ :-() Apparently they do _not_ intend to do anything in the 6.0 timeframe. [Unless, of course, all MSC users were to camp on their front doorsteps. Then they might reconsider :-)] Of course, the next question I asked was when can we expect 7.0? His response (couched in many words boiling down to "don't even think of taking this as a commitment") was in about 12 to 16 months. A long time to wait for something I feel I deserve now! Other misc regarding this: The new documents will be about 5 books, not ring-bound. Probably the same packaging as the MS-DOS 4.0 books. Also, 7.0 will "fully" support C++. Oh boy.
