Germany Lines: 35 Some days ago I got a PM VGA driver for 800x600 from a List server. It is for OS/2 1.1. I did not expect it to work with OS/2 1.2 (IBM) - but it does. It works perfectly with my Paradise VGA under IBM OS/2 1.2, except that all the color-icons are painted in black&white. But everything other works, even the 3D-buttons. I ran the PC Magazine benchmark and all tests worked. The driver came with an VERY short readme file which contained also the following two lines: >> This and other drivers can be obtained from Paradise BBS >> USA 415-968-1834 Now, the question(s): - Did anyone else try this driver? - Does anyone know this BBS system and if they also have a driver for OS/2 1.2? If you are now interested and take a look at this BBS, please tell me the results (or post in this newsgroup). I cannot use this BBS, because the lines are much too noisy from Germany to the U.S. and, more important, very expensive. If someone finds a 800x600 driver for 1.2, it would be nice to see it in comp.binaries.os2 .... Kai Uwe Rommel -- /* Kai Uwe Rommel * Munich * rommel@lan.informatik.tu-muenchen.dbp.de */
