Message-ID: Date: 25 Jul 90 19:10:15 GMT Distribution: na Organization: Advansoft Research Corp, Santa Clara, CA Lines: 22 Howdy All, We have a VMEbus system with a Force-30 (68030) cpu card which runs os9. Using a VME-to-VMEbus adapter, I`m able to read/write the memory on the Force-30 from a Sun 370 host using ONLY the VMEbus. My goal is to be able to cross-compile on the Sun and load the executable in the Force-30 main memory, once again, transferring over the VMEbus. Once loaded, I would like to somehow remotely 'signal' the Force-30 (maybe through a VMEBus interrupt ???) to begin executing the downloaded image. Has anyone had any experience with this sort of thing? Are there any good references which may help? I would appreciate any and all comments and suggestions and if interest warrants, I'll post a summary of responses. Thanks in advance!! Gregg gregg@advansoft.com (please e-mail responses)
