We are currently using the standard thick ethernet lines in a room full of IBM-AT's with Ungerman-Bass boards (running Novell Netware 286). We tried dropping one of these UB boards into an ES/12 but kept getting a message stating that the board could not be initialized; any idea what's going on here? Anyway, the number of ES/12's we have out number the number of UB boards in our possesion and we need to get more. What are your recommendations for ethernet cards? Anyone elso on campus using ES/12's this way? We will be running Netware 286 most of the time but will be using TCP/IP on occasion. Any info and leads will be greatly appreciated.
