We tried attaching an integrated SCSI controller/drive to the cable as a disk at SCSI address 1. The Sun pauses and accesses this disk but it doesn't appear to recognize it. Does anyone know some magic that can convince the Sun (BSD Unix) to recognize a modern intergrated controller/drive? Does Sun do something bizzare with the prehistoric Emulex controller and old fashion drive? Inquirying minds want to know. -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Gary Mussar |Bitnet: mussar@bnr.ca | Phone: (613) 763-4937 BNR Ltd. | UUCP: ..uunet!bnrgate!bcars53!mussar | FAX: (613) 763-2626
