Could someone point me to a complete description of how qbufs (are supposed to)
work in ISODE.  In particular, what constraints always hold?, how are they
allocated? (there always seems to be a single static node), etc.


Also, why does the 'sx' parameter to SDataRequest exist, since there is
already a place for it in the 'si' parameter?  Should (Can) the former
be set to point to the latter?
