I would suggest that the quote consist of a string of information separated by delimiters such as "," or ";". This way humidity and other more esoteric environmental parameters could be checked -- such as "on emergency power", "particle count", etc.... This would make it feasible for monitor manufacturers to make their equipment more accessible by having a standard protocol for reporting environmental conditions. Is there already such a beast in the RFC's?
