Message-ID: <1990Jul26.025457.11527@gpu.utcs.utoronto.ca> Organization: University of Toronto Computing Services Date: Thu, 26 Jul 90 02:54:57 GMT I'd like to make use of tcpdump on the CA*net NSSes (IBM RTs running a modified 4.3BSD similar to NSFnet). The README of the March '90 release of tcpdump said: "Sat Mar 3 04:45:39 PST 1990 This directory file contains yet another beta release of the source for tcpdump. We are still in the middle of replacing the Sun NIT interface with an enhanced version of the CMU/Stanford packet filter that was distributed with 4.3bsd. We hope that the next version of tcpdump will run an any 4bsd system, not just Suns. Our intent is to include the new version with the 4.4bsd distribution. ..." I don't yet have access to the 4.3 Reno distribution. Could someone please tell me if the new tcpdump is available yet? Thanks in advance, Tom -- Tom Molnar Unix Systems Group, University of Toronto Computing Services.
