Message-ID: <1152@cnps.PHILIPS.nl> Date: 23 Jul 90 12:36:49 GMT Sender: news@cnps.PHILIPS.nl Lines: 11 There seems to be a certain amount of lore about whether this CPU's clock is bad or good? Is there a list rating the quality, precision and such of various CPU clocks/OS clock-support (e.g., for sun, vax, mips, ....) failing that, how does one determine if his CPU clock is doing a good job keeping time running ntpd? Look at dispersions? offsets? ntp.drift? ....? What are good/bad values for these various parameters? thanks tom
