Lines: 27 References: Hi, netters! I am currently working on solving some problems in my work, to be able to prove that the system we're developing will meet certain of its deadlines (it's a so-called 'Hard Real-Time' system). I'm not super-familiar with real-time design issues; also, I only have limited influence on the design (IMHP -- in my humble perception). Does anyone have any experience with one or more of these "technology training houses" that offer seminars on various design and engineering issues? I would appreciate knowledgable feedback concerning which course offerings are the best for the money. Geographic proximity to the Atlanta area is desired, but not required. In a similar vein, what are the best written references to learn from? Please consider the fact that my reading time is limited and that I need to learn a LOT about "Hard Real-Time Systems" SOON. I'm currently reading the IEEE-CS tutorial on hard real-time systems compiled by J. A. Stankovic and K. Ramamritham. Please send via email, and I'll post a synopsis, if the netfolk desire. -- John T.
