All true, and I'd add 2 more: -- It isn't supported by any vendors or consortia. -- It's "reinvent the world" approach means that there are many places where you could imagine it being compatible with something else, but it isn't. Notably, it isn't compatible with any other mail system database formats, or with any other multimedia document formats (such as they are). I guess this is really just a more detailed version of Craig's "it's a big pill" answer, but lack of compatibility deserves special mention. -- Nathaniel
