Has anyone been successful in putting GNU EMACS 18.55 on an Alliant?  I set up
all the s- and m- files correctly but it tries to compile emacs.c (and a few
others) it throws up all over the floor with :

fxc - error : (1) Operand is not a pointer to a function

while using NULL with and argument.  (i.e.  NULL (answer))
It appears that the lisp.h file redefines
NULL but I don't see what is causing the problem.  Not being much of a C person
I'm not sure what is wrong.  Any ideas?
