Keywords: shareware Message-ID: <808@digi.lonestar.org> Date: 20 Jul 90 21:19:43 GMT Followup-To: comp.sys.ibm.pc Distribution: usa Organization: DSC Communications, Plano Tx. Lines: 28 I've got a question for anyone who has ever distributed a program via bulletin boards as shareware: Was it worth it? What kind of program did you submit? Did you submit the "full-blown" version, or did you submit a "restricted" version, and ask for payment before the "full-blown" version with documentation was sent? What kind of response did you receive (did ANYONE send any money)? What is a reasonable price? Most shareware programs I've seen were in the $10-25 range. I appreciate responses via E-mail - I'll post a summary of responses to the above questions if there's interest. Thanks.
