I'm about to purchase an AG-1830 to use with my amiga for slow-scan
digitizing (the 1830 has a true digital freeze) and recording anims
to tape (time to hack together an edit-sync controller for the serial
port).

Anyone care to comment on the good/bad points of this unit, or suggest
a similar but cheaper/better unit?  I'm trying to stay under $1-1.2K.
