Oh, well... Say what ...? There has been no official "call for discussion" or "call for votes" on this that I am aware of. And it certainly is not on the list of pending news group actions that Eliot Lear publishes in news.announce.newgroups (?). Perhaps this explains why the "voting" is low? If you want to create a new group, I suggest you get a copy of the current rules for doing so ... an updated version was posted just this past week, so it should still be on your machine (in one or more of the news.*.* groups). Or you could ask Kent ... he has some recent "experience" in doing this ... :-) This is not intended as a flame ... just a reminder that if you want to do this, then please do it right. /kim P.S. It's looking alot like the c.s.a hierarchy really needs a .forsale group. It's getting worse that the trash mail from K-Mart, etc. Sheeesh! -- UUCP: kim@uts.amdahl.com -OR- ked01@juts.ccc.amdahl.com or: {sun, decwrl, hplabs, pyramid, uunet, oliveb, ames}!amdahl!kim DDD: 408-746-8462 USPS: Amdahl Corp.
