If you I know advertising is a net-no-no but I have seen many requests for cheap 2400 baud modems come and go. I am also sorry to see many fellow Amiga users pay rediculous prices for SupraModems. We (Copper Elctronics Inc.) have been selling affordable, good quality modems for over a year and a half now. We previously sold thousands of Maxon (of the CB and radar dector fame) 2400baud modems until they were discontinued by the manufacturer. We currently sell the EMERSON (of the home electronic fame) 2400 baud modem. It is very reliable, fully Hayes compatible, has sturdy metal case (looks like a Hayes), smart/dumb mode, Asynchronous/Synchronous. We sell these modems (as seen in our Computer Shopper Ads) for $79.00 !!!! Again, sorry for the advertisment (NO FLAMES PLEASE it wont happen again!)
