An Amiga 500 with a monochrome monitor doesn't flicker either because the persistence of the monitor is somewhat greater than that of the color monitors. I can get a "mac equivalent" resolution mono monitor for $80. And I'll still have better screen resolution (640 X 440 versus 512 X 344) So what is the point? The point is this is a stupid comparison. I don't care if the Mac was $1000 less or a $1000 more, if it is what you have to buy, then it is. I could just as easily argue that you can't even get two buttons on your Mac Plus mouse but who cares? -- --Chuck McManis Sun Microsystems uucp: {anywhere}!sun!cmcmanis BIX: Internet: cmcmanis@Eng.Sun.COM These opinions are my own and no one elses, but you knew that didn't you.
