The Amax II is due out in the fall.  It is a card based systems for the  
Amiga 2000+ cpu's.  It allows full compatiblity including networking, sound
(yes, even digitized sounds) all your ram, and all your processors's speed.
It will even read/write mac disks with standard amiga drives!!!!
No price has been announced as far as I have heard.....
