It won't happen again! A friend of mine who's a GVP dealer >didn't know< that it was inappropriate to post prices here, and he got flamed viciously for weeks. You posted that YOU KNOW IT'S WRONG, BUT YOU'RE JUST GONNA DO IT THIS ONE TIME, and you expect people to be nice to you. You also cast aspersions on a product that you obviously aren't familiar enough with, when you know full well that the company that makes it can't respond here. I bought my Supra Modem 2400 at the World of Commodore show in Philly back in November of '88. It came with a cable, was fairly new on the market, and cost $135. The only times I've even >suspected< it of causing a problem turned out to be that I had a bad binary of my term (Online!_Platinum == good term) the first time, and that the phone company had two bare wires touching each other outside my house the second time. In other words, 20 months later, I've got a product that works as well as the day I bought it. I don't know of any other product that I can say the same of, including Ami (mounse had to be replaced). /******************************************************************** * All of the above copyright by the below. * * Bill Cavanaugh uunet!tronsbox!bleys * * "You can only be young once, but you can be immature forever." * * Larry Anderson * ********************************************************************/ I am in no way affiliated with Supra... this has been a testimonial from a satisfied customer.
