Mine works very well and is much quieter than the Seagate ST296N I also have. BTW, I'm running with the A2090a Controller. You _do_ have to "lie" to the that controller, though. It doesn't understand drives with as many surfaces as the Quantum 210MB has. I told it it had two surfaces and increased the total number of "tracks" or "cylinders" to compensate. (As I understand it, SCSI overrides all that junk, anyway, so it really only matters to the AmigaDos format command, anyway.
