No, you need the ECS "Denise" to get the productivity modes. The 1Meg
Agnus gives you more chip ram and bigger blits. (Oh and it is required
by the new denise)

For the 3000, yes. For the other models, No. Commodore says "September for
the 2000", no word on when for the 500.

Probably, but nothing in life is certain. If you have a 500, 2.0 may be
a bit far off in the future.
