The software works just fine with the 1200 baud modem I have. I can get out to another system, just fine. The problem is that the 80-column card expects to see control codes to change its default settings. When kermit connects I think it is resetting the card. Since I need to talk to a UNIX system the card's default caps-lock needs to be unset. The code to do this is ^A. Kermit ignores this when I try to do it after a connect and the quot character doesn't send the code to the card, either. Anybody got a fix? Bruce Salem
