 I believe Apple will respond to the IBM PS/1 with the much-rumored low-cost
color Mac running System 7.0. The LCCM will run a true GUI (as opposed to
Windows) and for that reason, I see it beating the living tar out of the PS/1.
As for the GS, much as I love mine, I suspect the days of the Apple // are
about to be effectively over. (I will personally be happy for every day that
it isn't an orphan platform)
