Okay, here's my problem. Until recently, I've had an Apple IIGS ROM 01 machine with a 1 Meg GS-RAM+ (about two years old, works flawlessly, but I'm just not sure of the rev number). I have been using AE Cache with it in ProDOS 8 quite well. Now, I've got Checkmate's MemorySaver in there along with it (I'm borrowing it from a friend with option to buy, he never used it). The problem is that AE Cache no longer recognizes my GS-RAM+, and says something to the effect that it didn't install AECache.System. This is rather annoying, as I've gotten quite attached to the speed of my cached AppleDisk 3.5. Can anyone either a) tell me what the problem is, or b) help me find software that will generically cache my 3.5" drive (hopefully PD) under P8. I'd really appreciate it. ------- ******************************************************************* Joe Carlin (FWA) Don't Panic! ud041948@ndsuvm1.bitnet "I seem to be having this terrible difficulty with my lifestyle." - Arthur Dent, HGTTG "Hello, I know that you've been feeling tired.
