With my "me" (the one that came with MWC), I include "-l" in the command
line and it comes up with 50/47(?) line mode.  I am reasonably sure that
the 'L' has to be lowercase, So it wouldn't work from the desktop, running
the program as a .TTP

I didn't run any 50 line mode hacks before I did this...
