I was just looking inside my venerable SH204 and was wondering if it would be possible to remove the Adaptec 4000(A?) controller and the current 3 1/2" drive and replace it with another drive mechanism, say a 105M 13ms Quantum drive. Is it doable? How would I have to configure it? Do I instead have to get a different ACSI<->SCSI adapter? People would like to know. Okay, I would like to know.
