If anyone has info on the STe DMA soundchip that they got off of the net a
while ago, check it for this (at the bottom of the file):

"For example, setting the mask to $07ff and the data register to $04c4
 will set the master volume to $14. That's all there is to it!"

This sentence is wrong...

Correction:

Mask:       $07ff
Data:       $04de (00000 10 011 011 110)
Master vol: $14   (-20 dB)
