I hope this is a simple question.  I have an old 512 with two external
drives.  For some reason, the thing doesn't see both drives, though as
far as I can tell they are correctly connected (I have of course tried
every possible permutation of cable and drive order).  Now, I am 
ignorant: there may be some perfectly obvious thing I need to do that
I don't know about.  If anybody can give a concise list of things to
do to have the thing see both drives, I would be most grateful.  

Note that both drives do work, individually.
