The old ATT PC6300 clock problem revisited Message-ID: <37807@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU> Date: 28 Jul 90 00:17:52 GMT References: <37797@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU> <1990Jul27.193040.26884@cs.umn.edu> Sender: usenet@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Reply-To: brand@janus.Berkeley.EDU Lines: 11 Thanks for the responses received so far. However, I should have been a bit more specific. The clock on my PC6300 **does** work properly! The problem is that this program (DacEasy) does not obtain the same value for the time as I do when I type "time". One respondent suggested that programs calling the bios directly may obtain different results due to differences in the bios implementation. Can anyone out there elaborate? Are these differences documented somewhere and, more importantly, is there a "fix"? Cheers, -Graham Brand (brand@janus.berkeley.edu)
