rather versatile, to say the least.   the hardware for that would be
a piece of cake, the programming is another matter...

  is there a monumental difference between the bios for 2.xx and 3.xx??
pc machines seem to use the same rom bios for all versions of the operating
system, or did SS make enhancements over the 2.xx bios??

I've heard there is a version of TECO in the DECUS library that is
written in C and will work on MS-DOS.  I haven't checked it out
myself, so can't say any more about it than that.  Anyone reading this
that has a current copy of the library listing that can give further
information?
