Keywords: CS80 limit Message-ID: <1990Jul21.055950.27340@math-cs.kent.edu> Date: 21 Jul 90 05:59:50 GMT Sender: news@math-cs.kent.edu (News Administrator) Reply-To: bailey@math-cs.kent.edu (Jeff Bailey) Organization: Department of Computer Science, Kent State University Lines: 13 I'm trying to attach more than 8 CS80 devices to one HP9000/350. The machine has the built in HPIB as well as 2 98625B high speed HPIB disk interfaces. At first I thought the built in HPIB was dead but now I think that there must be a limit of 8 devices in the cs80 driver in the kernel. If anybody knows for sure, or even better, knows how to get around this, I would appreciate the help. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Jeff Bailey (System Administrator) Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Kent State University Kent - OH 44242
