    my 9000/540 replacement must have native tcp/ip support.  the 822 is
    one of the candidates and it even has a bind implementation.  does any
    one out there use it?  how good is it.

Well, I've run the Series 800 named for HP-UX 7.0 on my 835 and it's one of
the more robust, better-behaved versions I've seen.

But then my opinion could hardly be called unbiased...
