If you are talking about the nameserver (DNS) capability, HP-UX implements BIND, Berkeley's (BSD 4.3) version of a domain name server. Thus it is a widely used version, and cleanly implemented (ie. there is no need to run Yellow Pages if you do not want to, unlike another vendor). Art Harkin Hewlett Packard
