The model number is XR4E and it is an external system. The manual has specifies another model number: 811620. The software that comes with the drive performs the basic backup functions but does not have any compression options. I have read about drives with software that can perform 2:1 compression. Is there an update program available from CMS or another source that can do compression on my drive? Any response will be greatly appreciated.
