A while ago, I had a bold prompt on the Unix box that I accessed through
MS-Kermit.  This has caused the left hand side of my (ega) screen to
become dimmer than the center and the right hand side.

I have assumed that the problem is in the monitor, and not the card,
because I think that the card only sends a digital RGB signal to the
monitor.  Can anybody verify this for me?  (I don't have any schematics,
nor do I have any other video cards or monitors to test with.)
