It replaced a 20MB seagate (65ms access) and man what a difference. I can't speak for it on a PC, I use a standard MFM 15 MB on my 12mhz AT, couldn't see wastin all that space ... I've got one possible "bad spot" on the disk in the middle of a large file, but that's most likely my flakey hardware ... I didn't understand either why this 80MB drive was so much cheaper then other comparable 80MB drives. I paid about $475 thru California MicroChip out of Computer Shopper. -FredC /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ < Fred Cassirer ...rti!dg.rtp.com!cassirer > < Data General Corporation Research Triangle Park, NC > \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/
