I'm looking for a 16" monitor, but I haven't been able to test them effectively at the local stores. The primary candidates are: Nanao 9070U, NEC 4D, and Mitsubishi 6605. If anyone has had good or bad experiences with them, please share them with me. I know 4D has received good reviews lately, but the one I saw was not all that impressive. I also heard from someone that their quality control is not all that good. In addition, there seems to be a shortage of it. The best prices for these locally are: 9070U -- $1019 4D -- $1150 6605 -- $1099. Are these in line with other places? Any chance these would drop? Based on the price and what I saw, I think I'm leaning toward the 9070U. The 6605 can do 1280x1024. Would that be effective on a 16" screen? Any help would be appreciated. Ho-Ping Tseng BTW. Has anyone had any problem with Genoa 6400? I'm choosing between it and Orchid ProDesigner+.
