a few months ago i noticed that the cursor on my mac would
spontaneous begin to move up and down slowly by a small
amount until i moved the mouse. this 'problem' would exhibit
itself completely randomly, but almost always after the mouse
was idle for some random amount of time.

i have gatekeeper(s) installed and run disinfectant periodically,
so i am reasonably sure i have no known viruses. however,
this looks very suspicious to me, albeit currently innocuous.

has anyone else had this strange behavior occur? what's the
reason/solution?
