	I have a 1.5 head external 800K drive that I would like to 
fix - since FDHD drives are not much more expensive than 800Ks, I 
thought that I would just substitute the mechanism.

	The question : is the cable on the 800K external suitable
for use with the FDHD ? I notice that not all the pins are connected
and would rather know now rather than fry the drive/controller etc.
