I tried using the command dial "xxxxxxx" with modem to call and I always got cut off in the middle of dialing. Also, the HS ( an indicator for modem running at 2400 bps ) light goes off after the first trial. Is Hypercard compatible with 2400 bps ? I have no trouble dialing a computer using VersaTerm-Pro with exactly the same connection and modem setup. Can anyone who has succeeded dialing with a modem give some hints ? Thank you all.
