The screen of a Mac Plus has suddenly gone all black except of a 5mm horizontal
strip on the left edge of the screen. If you place the mouse cursor there you
can see it.  It looks like a video problem and probably an adjustment 
problem. 

Does anybody know the procedure for performing such an adjustment?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
