Problem with bad files (error -127) Message-ID: <838@grit.cs.utexas.edu> Date: 26 Jul 90 22:20:53 GMT Organization: U. Texas CS Dept., Austin, Texas Lines: 14 Help! I've got 2 files on my HD that give error -127 when verified. According to the syserrors DA, verson 2.7, error -127 is a menu manager error, so the number means nothing to me. I took a look at the files with various sector editors, and this is what I think the problem is: The file says it has 6 sectors. But only 5 are listed in the extents record. So everything freaks when trying to delete the file or edit those sectors. How can I get rid of these things??????? I want them gone! -- Ted Woodward (ted@cs.utexas.edu) Greetings, Royal Ugly Dudes!
