This happens to a lot of people here, too.  The problem seems to be typing
"to" (not "sto") on ADB keyboards.  It only happens to me on our locally
developed terminal emulator and email program, so at first I thought it
was the programs; when I talked to one of the developers of the programs,
he said it happens to him in other text-entry situations, as well.
(Personally, I've never had in happen in a word processor or anything
else.)

In my case, the problem is that I cannot type a space after the word
"to" sometimes; I have to type one letter (which does not appear), then
everything is normal.  So, if I typed "stop" and the problem came up, I
would not get the "p", but the space after would be fine.  If I tried
to type (why is this the first "sto*" word in my head? =) "stoli",
I would get "stoi".  Again, this only comes up occasionally-- about once
every few hours of typing.

I've asked the net for a response to this question before, and never got
any.  Please post anything you can find out.
