Davis - Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Lines: 16 I am writing an app that I want to be as MultiFinder friendly as possible. Therefore, when I call WaitNextEvent with a sleep value of 0xFFFFFFFF (the app doesn't run on Systems with the sleep bug). Unfortunately, I noticed that when I do this, Pyro and some other things stop working. If I move the mouse to the sleep now corner, Pyro won't activate. Scope, the magnifying glass DA, also does not work correctly. If I call WNE with a smaller sleep value like 10, Pyro and Scope work ok. Am I correct in diagnosing these problems as bugs in Pyro and Scope? Is there anything I can do to avoid problems like these? Apparently, nobody expected that MultiFinder would ever sleep for a long time. +++ Lloyd Lim Internet: lim@iris.ucdavis.edu (128.120.57.20) Compuserve: 72647,660 US Mail: 146 Lysle Leach Hall, U.C.
