Message-ID: <1990Jul27.160230.2718@midway.uchicago.edu> Date: 27 Jul 90 16:02:30 GMT Sender: nmm2@midway.uchicago.edu Organization: University of Chicago East Asian Dept. Lines: 20 I am a TA in the Japanese Dept. at the U of Chicago and use the Mac for Japanese word-processing, etc. I need the latest version of the KanjiTalk system (6.0.4) and would like to know if anyone has heard of what is available in the way of third-party software, FEP's, FONTS, etc. Also, when playing around with the Kanji fonts in Redit, I discovered that it can also read the Chinese fonts for the Taiwanese system software 6.0.4. Can I somehow modify their resources so the Chinese can be read by KanjiTalk? As it is now, files written in Japanese are jibberish to the Taiwanese system, and vice-versa. If anyone knows how Apple put these system softwares together with their fonts, could you contact me? -- =============================================================================== !!\\ !! !!\\ //!! !! \\ !! !! \\ // !!
