    I need help with telneting thru a VAX 8530 to a neXT. I can connect to the
next and logon, but when I try and edit a file, say with emacs or vi, the scree
n doesn't even clear and the screen looks like when you try and use TTY when yo
ur supposed to use VT100. I have my terminal set to VT100 and it still won't wo
rk. Also when the neXT asks me for my terminal type at login, it says that
dec-vt-100 is unknown, I have tried typing vt100, and the only thing that works
 is if I type Kermit. I have tried: Kermit, TinCan 4.01, and WhiteKnight and kn
own of thse work. Please respsond directly ASAP. Thanks...
