I guess this was already asked more then once but...

We have a problem with ptys that are left captured by processes of users
that logged out, and thus disable logging in. I am sure that some of you
have encountered this problem, and I even heard once that this is an
official SunOS 4.0 bug. Does anyone have a solution? I would also like to
know if the bug was fixed in SunOS 4.1
